  5. NOTE:  Tribal Voice, Inc., may revise the Acceptable Use Policy
  6.        from time to time without notice by posting a new version
  7.        of the document on the Tribal Voice web site at

  11.        Accordingly, you should consult the most current version of 
  12.        this document regularly to ensure your activities conform to 
  13.        the most recent version.

  15. Tribal Voice, Inc. provides a pleasant environment for all users of
  16. its software, services, and related material to enjoy and will take 
  17. whatever actions are necessary to reach this goal.

  19. Tribal Voice, Inc. cooperates fully with Internet service providers 
  20. and law enforcement agencies in reporting and investigating any 
  21. illicit activities.

  23. We have established the following Terms and Conditions for use.  Please 
  24. read them carefully.

  26. By using this software and services you agree to abide by the Terms and 
  27. Conditions.

  30. TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

  32. You agree to use Tribal Voice, Inc.'s products only for lawful 
  33. purposes, in compliance with all applicable laws.  You are prohibited 
  34. from using Tribal Voice, Inc.'s, products to compromise security or 
  35. tamper with resources of any computer systems.  You are solely 
  36. responsible for any content you transmit through or which make use of 
  37. Tribal Voice, Inc.'s products.

  39. You agree to enter a valid email address, of which you are the owner or 
  40. primary user, and a unique password. If you use an address that is not 
  41. yours, we will not be able assist you with password problems, reply to 
  42. answering machine messages you may leave, and so forth.  In short, we 
  43. will not be able to communicate with you.  You are entirely responsible 
  44. for any breach of privacy or security resulting from your failure to 
  45. maintain the confidentiality of your password.

  47. You are encouraged, but not required, to use your real name, unless
  48. you are using a service which requires or encourages anonymity.  You
  49. may not use a name to intentionally impersonate someone or perform 
  50. fraudulent activity.  This includes, but is not limited to, the
  51. substitution of letters or numbers, such as the number "1" for the
  52. lower-case letter "l" or the number "0" for the upper-case letter
  53. "O," and so forth.  Vulgar or sexually explicit names are prohibited.

  55. If Tribal Voice, Inc.'s products are used by persons other than 
  56. yourself on your computer, you are responsible for their actions.

  58. You must behave in a responsible fashion.  You agree not to do
  59. anything that detracts from other persons' enjoyment of the Software
  60. or services.

  62. Tribal Voice, Inc., its suppliers, licensors, and affiliates reserve 
  63. the right to take lawful and reasonable actions against anyone who 
  64. violates these Terms and Conditions, including, but not limited to, 
  65. modifying or discontinuing your access to Tribal Voice, Inc.'s 
  66. products with or without notice to the User.

  68. Tribal Voice, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, exercise its right to 
  69. modify or discontinue use of Tribal Voice, Inc.'s products, goods, or
  70. services.

  72. Tribal Voice, Inc., does not advocate censorship, but profanity used
  73. for harassment or disruption is not a question of free speech.  Such
  74. behavior is rude, abusive, and in some cases it is illegal.
  75.  
  76. The purpose of PowWow is the free exchange of ideas.  The unwelcome
  77. use of profanity and sexually-suggestive comments, is prohibited on
  78. PowWow.  Profanity, sexually-suggestive comments knowingly made to
  79. minors, sexual harassment of a child, even verbally, is a serious crime
  80. and subject to prosecution.  Do not send materials that contain viruses,
  81. worms, or any other destructive elements.  Insults, threats, pyramid or
  82. other soliciting schemes, or other unwelcome actions meant to disrupt or
  83. abuse other PowWow users are also prohibited.

  85. Tribal Voice allows users to run their own private Communities.  You 
  86. agree to adhere to the rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, and 
  87. any other such instructions of any Community you join, regardless of 
  88. where such information is posted.  Any and all Communities should be 
  89. regarded as privately-owned and administered/moderated as the owner 
  90. sees fit.  You agree to follow any instructions given by a Community's 
  91. Administrator(s) and/or Moderator(s).  Abusive activity within a private 
  92. Community must be reported to the Community's Owner, Administrator(s),
  93. or Moderator(s).

  95. Tribal Voice, Inc. exercises no screening or control of activities 
  96. performed by users of our software.  Tribal Voice disclaims any and
  97. all responsibility for actions taken by users of our software and 
  98. services.  You are solely responsible for maintaining the security 
  99. of your computer and network connection.

  101. Questions about the Guidelines should be addressed to policy@tribal.com.
  102. Reports of violations should be addressed to abuse@tribal.com, with the
  103. Connection Information of the abuser, the address of the Community in
  104. which the abuse occurred, and any logs or screen captures.  Tribal 
  105. Voice, Inc. cannot act on any complaint without proper and conclusive
  106. proof of abusive activity.

  109. ANY USER WHO DOES NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  110. SHOULD IMMEDIATELY STOP USE OF THE PRODUCTS AND NOTIFY TRIBAL VOICE, 
  111. INC. IMMEDIATELY SO THAT THEIR ACCOUNT MAY BE TERMINATED.
